BACKGROUND :-

Blood donation is a voluntary practice that helps those in need of blood transfusion due to some accident or illness. The most essential body fluid, excessive blood loss can cause an untimely death if the need is not fulfilled immediately. Hence, blood donation is a life-saving procedure.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES :-

​

Every year students of Oyster College of Physiotherapy organize a blood donation camp in collaboration with Datta Bhale Blood Bank unit of Headgewar Hospital Aurangabad. The students and teachers  are encouraged to donate blood and how can they practice this act of humanity while being at their respective roles and positions. The donor’s and the organizing team gets a certificate of appreciation from the blood bank unit for this voluntary practice.
